Junior Network Consultant
We’re looking for someone to support our Presales Engineers – the technical experts standing between sales and the customer. Your job will be to assist with Mendel demos, collect and process data, and run basic analyses so that our colleagues can handle more projects efficiently.
What you will do
You’ll work alongside our senior Network Security Consultant, supporting Mendel’s technical deployment for customers and learning how sales and technology come together. Don’t worry – you won’t be thrown straight into big presentations. You’ll start with preparations and gradually take on more complex tasks.
Your main activities will include:
- Preparing and supporting Proof of Concept (PoC) under senior guidance
- Collecting and organizing technical inputs needed for configuration and deployment
- Checking system operation after installation (collected data, system performance)
- Preparing initial analytical outputs and supporting final reports
- Creating technical parts of standardized reports and FAQs
- Joining selected presentations and workshops – assisting with demos and conferences
Who are we looking for
We’re looking for someone with a technical background and eagerness to learn. You don’t need years of experience, but you should have attention to detail, analytical thinking, and interest in networking and/or security. This is a junior role – ideal for someone fresh out of school or with first work experience, looking to grow into a full-fledged Presales Engineer.
You should have
- Understanding of network protocols
- General knowledge of network security
- Analytical thinking and precision
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge in practice
- English skills sufficient for reading documentation and basic communication
