Network Security Consultant (Pre-Sales)

We are now looking for a senior technical pre-sales professional who: 

  • has a deep understanding of computer networks,
  • can discuss them confidently with customers,
  • and can demonstrate the value of our solution using real network data relevant to each customer’s environment.

What you will do?

You will act as a technical partner to both the sales team and customers. Your mission is to demonstrate why Mendel makes sense in a specific customer network – not through marketing promises, but through real data and real insights.

Specifically, you will:

  • lead the technical part of pre-sales – from the first technical call to deal closure,
  • manage POCs (Proof of Concept):
    • collect and analyze technical inputs (network architecture, traffic flows, IP ranges, integrations),
    • coordinate solution deployment with internal teams,
    • work with real network traffic data and Mendel outputs, lead evaluation meetings, and formulate clear conclusions,
  • present Mendel to customers – explaining how it works, what it sees in the network, and what traditional tools miss,
  • contribute to solution sizing, architecture design, and the technical part of commercial proposals,
  • act as an expert sparring partner for sales, partners, and customers,
  • occasionally represent GREYCORTEX at conferences and industry events.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced professional who:

  • has hands-on experience with enterprise networks and understands network traffic behavior,
  • can explain even highly complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way,
  • is independent, confident in decision-making, and comfortable engaging directly with customers.

What you’ll need

  • deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and network behavior,
  • experience with firewalls, segmentation, and network monitoring,
  • hands-on experience with tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, or similar,
  • solid understanding of network security principles

Nice to have

  • Cisco or firewall-related certifications,
  • security or ethical hacking background,
  • experience in pre-sales, consulting, or enterprise environments.
