Czech Television is a public service broadcaster that operates extensive digital services in addition to traditional TV programming. These include online broadcasting platforms such as the CT24 news portal, mobile applications, HbbTV, and other online platforms. In 2024, these digital services recorded 284 million video views, with an average of 2.4 million monthly users.
The technical operation, availability, and security of these platforms are managed by the Digital Services division.
Challenges
The Digital Services team required a unified solution capable of effectively monitoring network traffic and detecting cybersecurity threats.
These infrastructure specialists were looking for real-time visibility into network traffic to help them quickly identify and resolve outages, traffic anomalies, or configuration issues. Meanwhile, their cybersecurity analyst required robust detection capabilities to spot any malicious communication, malware, and attempts to exploit vulnerabilities within the internal network.

Results
After a one-month evaluation followed by a technical workshop, GREYCORTEX Mendel met all of Czech Television’s expectations. Their IT team now works with a single tool to monitor the network, investigate incidents, and respond to threats more effectively.
