Cedrob S.A. is Poland’s largest fully integrated producer of poultry meat, chicks, and animal feed. Operating under a “from grain to table” model, Cedrob controls the entire production chain, from purchasing grain and feed production to hatcheries, farms, slaughtering, and meat processing.

The company runs dozens of entities and production plants, with sales spanning Poland and more than 70 international markets. This scale has created a complex IT and OT environment that must support non-stop production and a highly reliable supply chain.

Challenges

Cedrob relies on uninterrupted production processes supported by logistics networks, distribution centers, warehouses, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Any disruption to their IT or OT environments can result in direct financial losses and impact production and distribution.

As cyber incidents increased across the sector and network complexity grew, Cedrob needed stronger security controls. The key requirement was continuous visibility into network traffic across IT and OT, enabling real-time anomaly detection and fast incident response before production could be affected.
